James Wesley Thomas was born on January 11, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, and passed away on July 10, 2025, in Riverside, California.
James was a quiet and kind man, known for his gentle presence and the love he held for his family. He had a lifelong passion for music, especially playing the drums and guitar.
Throughout his life, James worked as an industrial worker, dedicating himself to his profession with integrity and diligence. However, his proudest accomplishment by far was being the father of two wonderful daughters, who brought him great pride and happiness.
He is survived by his sisters Linda and Shirley Thomas, and his daughter Coletta Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his mother Gracie Thomas; his sisters Patricia Thomas and Rosetta Briggs; Spencer Briggs; and his daughter Shavita Thomas.
James will be remembered most for his love of music and the peace he brought to those around him. Though he has departed this life, his memory will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and friends.
