Christine Honey, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully of natural causes on April 25, 2025, in Buena Park, California. She was 66 years old. Born on July 19, 1958, in Loma Linda, California, Christine brought light and laughter into every space she entered and left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Christine was the kind of person who made life feel warmer, easier, and more joyful. With her quick wit, generous spirit, and ever-present sense of humor, she could make anyone smile. She was social and passionate, never hesitating to share her love with others or stand strong in her beliefs. Above all, she was fiercely devoted to her family, the heart of everything she did.
She spent many years working as a lot coordinator at the Southern California Auto Auction, where her dedication and vibrant personality made her well-loved among her colleagues. After retiring, Christine embraced life with renewed joy — traveling with her beloved husband Timothy, gardening, crocheting, and crafting beautiful beaded jewelry.
Her proudest accomplishments were rooted in the love she gave and the life she built. Christine especially cherished the bond she shared with her grandson, whose presence brought her endless pride and happiness. Her love for him was deep, unconditional, and radiant.
Christine found comfort in life’s simple pleasures and had a gift for turning everyday moments into something special. Whether through a handmade gift, time spent in the garden, or a shared laugh, she left a legacy of love and creativity that touched everyone around her.
She is survived by her youngest daughter, Joanna Honey; her son-in-law, Christopher Holt; and her treasured grandson, William Holt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Honey, and her eldest daughter, Elizabeth McGinnis.
Christine will be remembered for the way she loved — deeply, freely, and with her whole heart. Though her absence will be felt profoundly, her spirit lives on in the countless memories she created and the love she so generously shared.
