It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jone Scherer, a beloved mother, published author, talented singer/songwriter and a gifted artist, who left this world surrounded by love on June 3, 2025. Jone was a vibrant spirit whose laughter and warmth touched the lives of everyone she met.

Born with a passion for storytelling, Jone dedicated her life to the arts, sharing her unique voice through her books, songs and paintings. Her creativity was matched only by her sense of humor, which brought joy to her family and friends. A lifelong fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Jone found joy in cheering for her team, often bringing her infectious enthusiasm to every game. She also held a special admiration for Celine Dion, whose music resonated deeply with her, inspiring her own artistic endeavors.

An avid lover of the ocean, Jone found peace and inspiration in the waves and the beauty of nature. Her spirit will forever be intertwined with the sea, a place where she felt most at home.

Jone's friendships were a testament to her loving nature. She cherished her bond with her many friends, including Doris Day, sharing laughter and memories that will forever be treasured. Above all, Jone was the greatest mother in the world to her only son, Brian, who was not just her child but her best friend. Their relationship was a beautiful example of unconditional love, filled with shared adventures, laughter, and support.

Jone's legacy will live on through the stories she told, the songs she sang, and the love she shared. She is survived by her son Brian, who will carry her spirit in his heart forever. As we remember Jone, let us celebrate her life, her laughter, and the countless ways she enriched our lives.
