Josephine Cirelli was born Guiseppina Tessaro on November 15, 1929 in the small North Italian town of Fanzolo, Italy to parents Emilio and Elena Tessaro. She was the youngest of 4 sisters–Paulina, Angelina and Elsa. At age 19 she immigrated to Canada and settled in Timmins with sisters Elsa and Angelina where she learned to be a seamstress. Although her trade was sewing, her number one primary purpose in this life was caring for her children Robert, Sandra and Julie. A true Mommy's Mom she worked and lived her life with her priority being her children and we are truly grateful.

After Canada she immigrated to the United States where she lived, worked and raised her children and eventually became married to Frank Cirelli for the remainder of his life. After his passing she moved in with daughter Sandra and had her daughter Julie right next door. This is where she joyfully spent the final 8-1/2 years of her wonderful, nearly 95 1/2 year old life. Josephine passed peacefully at home on May 3, 2025 with her daughters Sandra and Julie by her side throughout her journey and her son Robert and husband Frank waiting for her on the other side.
