It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Villamor Anitohin, affectionately known to most as Billy, who departed this life on May 9, 2025, in Downey, California. Born on January 14, 1956, in the Philippines, Billy lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and an unyielding spirit.

Billy was a man of many talents and passions, always eager to lend a hand and touch the lives of those around him. A true green thumb, he found joy and solace in gardening and landscaping, transforming a once dull backyard into a lush orchard. He also had a deep love for music, often picking up his guitar or captivating an audience with his karaoke renditions.

His professional life was as diverse as his interests. Though he held an engineering degree in agriculture, Billy was a man of many hats: an engineer, a businessman, a contractor, a dedicated professor, and even a local politician. His entrepreneurial spirit was boundless, and he embraced every endeavor with enthusiasm.

It was easy for anyone to be drawn to Billy's warm demeanor and infectious charm; he cherished connecting with people and was known for his numerous deeds and accomplishments. What truly set Billy apart was his unwavering optimism and remarkable resilience. He always believed in a positive outcome, no matter the challenge. Even in the face of setbacks and multiple ventures that didn't pan out as planned, he never gave up on pursuing his many passions.

Billy spent the majority of his life in the Philippines, building a rich legacy before moving to the United States 12 years ago to be closer to his family. He was a beacon of calm and tranquility, never exhibiting stress or anxiety, always relaxed, and blessed with an easy, peaceful sleep. His beautiful smile, adorned with a signature dimple on his left cheek, was a testament to his friendly nature, and he was undeniably photogenic.

Beyond his many accomplishments, Billy was a deeply religious man, known for his 3 AM prayers and unwavering belief in God and the afterlife. His memory will be cherished during drives for food, conversations about current events, and family gatherings – simple pleasures that truly highlighted his bright and magnetic personality.

Billy is survived by his beloved wife, Elvira; his devoted children, Mae, Julius, and Mark; his dear in-laws, Mia and Donald; his cherished grandson, Joaquin; and his loyal canine companion, Cooper. He also leaves behind a multitude of friends and relatives scattered across the globe, all of whom were touched by his selfless and charitable heart. Billy's life was a testament to a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and gave generously. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
