Andre Ferguson Green, born on March 4, 1968, in Kokomo, Indiana, passed away peacefully of natural causes on June 17, 2025, in Los Angeles, California. He was 57 years old.
Andre’s life was one filled with laughter, music, and love. From a young age, he was passionate about rap music and dreamed of becoming a rap star. He wrote several original songs, including one of his favorites, “Back in the Day.” A natural entertainer, Andre had a comedic gift—he loved making people laugh and had a special way of bringing joy into any room he entered.
Andre was a gifted athlete. He ran track and played basketball at Moorpark High School, where he also shined on the football field as a wide receiver. He continued playing football at Moorpark College while pursuing his associate degree. Throughout his life, Andre maintained a deep love for football and basketball.
Andre worked at Jewel T, UPS, and held several other jobs over the years. In all his roles, he brought his signature charm and easygoing spirit. He was known for his big heart, strong work ethic, and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
Above all, Andre was proud of his role as a father. He is survived by his beloved sons, Devin Fernandez, Kisai Ferguson, and Mikka Tincani. He is also survived by his mother, Jacqueline Green, and his father, Bishop Theodore Major Green Sr.; his brothers, Theodore Green II and Theodore Green III; and many other relatives, extended family members, and cherished friends.
Andre was a longtime member of Spiritual Growth Church and lived his life with faith, humor, and a deep sense of love for those around him. He would want to be remembered as a giving and loving person—someone who minded his own business, brought smiles to others, and stayed true to himself.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Imperial Church of Christ, located at 11316 San Pedro Street, Los Angeles, CA 90061. In the meantime, his family and friends take comfort in the memories, laughter, and love Andre leaves behind.
Rest easy, Dre. You were one of a kind.
